Nine stylish rooms and suites blend contemporary furniture with rustic authentic pieces and indigenous artworks. The modern bathrooms contain rain showers, freestanding baths, and floor-to-ceiling windows with uninterrupted views. The Chamberlain Suite features an indoor/outdoor double deluxe bath and wraparound veranda.
Dining is inclusive and features gourmet meals showcasing produce from the Ord River Valley. Evening meals are served at the communal table or one of three private locations overlooking the gorge.
The Homestead offers a number of complementary experiences. Go boating through the gorges, take a scenic flight over the wilderness, follow a self-guided 4WD tour, go horse riding, and enjoy nature and wildlife tours.

Location & Getting There
El Questro is located in Western Australia’s rugged Kimberley region, approximately 100 km from Kununurra Airport and the nearest town. Regular flights are available from all major Australian cities. Air charters are also available direct to two El Questro private airstrips.
Accommodation
El Questro Homestead offers just nine rooms, suites, and retreats, for a maximum of 18 guests. Every room features a private verandah, some with outdoor baths and showers overlooking the river, gardens, and sky. The Chamberlain Gorge Suite is perched dramatically over the namesake gorge and features floor-to-ceiling windows for spectacular views of sunrise and sunset over the rugged terrain. The wraparound verandah includes a dining area, a relaxing lounge, and a bathtub built for two. Three new Cliff Side Retreats wow with uninterrupted river views, outdoor showers, feather-topped beds, and secluded freestanding bathtubs on deck.
All nine rooms, suites, and retreats feature contemporary design coupled with rustic Australian furnishings, sumptuous double king beds, AESOP bath products, light-filled spaces, and breathtaking views of the surrounding nature. With luxurious settings, friendly staff, and attentive service, The Homestead is the ideal place to immerse yourself in the untamed beauty of the Kimberley region.
Activities
With the rugged backdrop of the Kimberley region landscape and almost 1 million acres of land to explore, activities at El Questro Homestead are near endless. Soak in the Zebedee Thermal Springs, fish for barramundi, hike waterfalls, or cruise the Chamberlain Gorge. Venture out by horse, helicopter, or on two feet to places you’ve only seen in dreams or movie scenes. For the ultimate perspective and a jaw-dropping understanding of the vastness of the land, take an open-door helicopter ride over the park - an experience of a lifetime.
After a day of heart-pumping adventure, El Questro Homestead offers the ultimate respite with dinners under the stars, overlooking waterfalls, or on the edge of the incredible cliffs. Chef Alan Groom creates gourmet dining experiences using a vast array of tropical and organic produce from the neighboring Ord River Valley, supplemented by the abundant riches of Western Australia’s coastlines and paddocks. Following a delicious meal, adjourn to one of the luxurious retreats for a cocktail on a private veranda, or a relaxing bath under the stars.

Children over 12 are welcome but extra beds cannot be provided.
