The Menjangan

Located on the remote northwest coast of Bali, The Menjangan is a luxury eco-lodge within the boundaries of the wildlife-rich West Bali National Park. Surrounded by an impressive variety of flora, fauna, and birds, this nature retreat offers an intimate jungle experience next to a pristine private beach.

The Menjangan offers 24 luxurious rooms ranging from stylish rooms and suites arranged around the infinity pool to beachfront villas and an exclusive three-bed residence. Each one features polished wooden floors, thatched roofs, and sophisticated, minimalist décor.

There are two restaurants serving Indonesian classics and Western favorites. Eat beachside at Pantai Restaurant, or climb above the treeline for panoramic views from Bali Tower Bistro.

The resort is a paradise for nature lovers with superb snorkeling and diving offshore, and excellent wildlife and birds in the national park including the rare Bali starling. Round off the day with a pampering spa treatment.

Location & Getting There
This peaceful and secluded beachside retreat is found in the unspoiled Bali Barat National Park on the northwest coast of Bali, a 2.5-hour drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport.

Accommodation
Luxurious accommodation ranges from stylish rooms and suites in the Monsoon Lodge to secluded and romantic beach villas with wooden decks and outdoor baths. Monsoon Lodges are set around an idyllic swimming and hot pool, comprising of 14 large deluxe rooms and 2 suites. Each room either has a pool lagoon or private wooden deck area and sundeck. Beach Villas feature an outdoor courtyard and outdoor bath, offering an absolute beachfront that leaves guests just steps away from the private beach. The lavishly appointed three-bedroom Menjangan Residence features a private pool perched right on the cliff-edge, a common living room, a large wooden deck, and a private balcony that overlooks the ocean in each room.

Activities
The resort makes an ideal base from which to explore the exotic island of Bali and a varied program of activities is on offer. Explore the national park on foot, horseback, or mountain bike; or go diving in one of Indonesia’s prime scuba diving spots, located just offshore. Take time out and appreciate the natural beauty of the surroundings, or lie on the beach and drift off while listening to the sound of waves lapping the shore.
