Located on the forested slopes of the Ngorongoro Highlands, Gibb’s Farm is a working coffee farm and luxury lodge with views over the forests and plantation. Surrounded by gardens, this charming place harks back to a bygone era yet offers a host of modern amenities.
There are 17 cosy guest cottages scattered around the grounds. Each has two en suite bedrooms, a lounge with fireplace, and features unique local artworks.
The restaurant serves nutritious farm-to-table cuisine, using ingredients from the organic gardens. The organic Arabica coffee comes directly from the farm, and cakes and scones served for afternoon tea are freshly baked.
Guests are invited to join farm tours, bread making and coffee roasting. Further afield, explore Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Crater, visit local schools and markets, and learn about the medicinal use of plants and herbs from a Maasai healer. Round off your day with an African treatment in the spa.
