Rocco Forte Villa Kennedy

Germany

Built-in 1901 Frankfurt, Villa Kennedy started life as a family home before opening as a five-star hotel in 2006. Now operated under the prestigious Rocco Forte group, the villa was renamed after President Kennedy’s visit to the city in 1963, and black-and-white prints of his visit adorn its walls.

The 127 rooms and 36 suites were individually designed by Olga Polizzi and Martin Brudnizki, and feature seating areas, glass-and-mosaic bathrooms with heated floors, and state-of-the-art amenities. For the ultimate experience, stay in the Jackie O. Suite with a private library, or the Presidential John F. Kennedy Suite, which occupies an entire floor and houses a baby grand piano in its main living room.

The award-winning Gusto restaurant serves Italian cuisine, while the JFK Bar offers afternoon tea by day and cocktails, fine wines, whiskies, and cognacs by night.

Why we recommend Rocco Forte Villa Kennedy

Named after President Kennedy’s visit to the city in 1963, this lovely villa hotel, which dates back to 1901, is located close to the south bank of the main river. Offering quintessential Rocco Forte service and high-end luxury, the rooms are beautifully decorated, the family suites and the Families R Forte program ensure that everybody is welcome, and the spa - which is set across three floors and includes a pool - is especially impressive.
