Mwiba Lodge

The luxury safari lodge is nestled among huge stone boulders, acacias and ancient coral trees overlooking the Arugusinyai River in Tanzania.

Mwiba Lodge provides eight spacious and elegant river suites connected by raised wooden walkways. Exquisite interiors combine traditional and modern design and feature canvas walls and classic furnishings. Each suite comes with a deck overlooking the river.

The area is known for its leopard and is in a prime location for viewing the Great Migration from December to March. After a tiring day, relax by the infinity pool and later sip a sundowner in the tree house as wildlife graze at the waterhole below.

Location and getting there

The lodge is located in the Southern Serengeti in Tanzania. It is a 3-hour drive road from Ngorongoro Crater. It can be reached via light aircraft from Arusha, the nearest international airport, to Mwiba Airstrip, a 15-minute drive from the lodge

Accommodation

It comprises 8 open-plan suites featuring a blend of creams, natural suede, tans and accents of black and charcoal. Each suite features canvas walls, canopy beds, Linen sofas, darkwood floors, ornately carved wooden tables, Copper fixtures, large soaking tubs, indoor/outdoor showers and a private deck.
