Blue Zebra Island Lodge
Lake MalawiBlue Zebra Island Lodge is the only accommodation on tiny, jungle-topped Nankoma Island, part of the Marelli archipelago in the UNESCO-listed Lake Malawi National Park. This remote island paradise is surrounded by nature, including over 875 vibrant species of cichlid fish and over 650 species of birds, including the majestic African fish eagle.
There are safari-style rooms, executive chalets and lakeside tents. Accommodating between two and four people, the rooms feature comfortable beds swathed in mosquito netting and en suites with toilets and showers.
The lodge is full board, serving high-quality cuisine, while the bar serves drinks, cocktails, and local specialties. There are several comfortable lounges and an inviting infinity pool.
Activities including snorkelling, kayaking, boat trips and sunset cruises. The lodge does not have its own PADI dive centre but diving is available. You can also stroll along the island’s nature trails, spotting rare and colourful birds.
