With wildlife strolling past the front door and a team of private staff on hand, it’s a fantastic wilderness adventure for families and groups.
Acacia House has two double en-suite rooms on the ground floor, and an attic room that’s ideal for children. There’s a living/dining room with fireplace, cosy den with TV, and large terrace overlooking the Ol Chorro waterhole. Outside, the swimming pool is shared with neighbouring Mara House.
The private chef prepares hearty, home-cooked meals made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Wines, beers and soft drinks are provided.
Your private guide arranges safari activities, including game drives, nocturnal drives, cultural visits, hot air balloon rides, and nature walks. Kids are welcomed and will learn bush skills and hear fascinating wildlife stories.

Acacia House is situated in a beautiful and solitary area making it feel like you are surrounded by wildlife. The verandah overlooking the watering hole is one of our favourite spots: enjoy lunch or afternoon tea with herds of elephants, giraffes, impala and monkeys keeping you entertained. The outdoor swimming pool, which also overlooks the watering hole, is elegant and private, and the nature drives available are absolutely second to none.
