Kwando Kwara Camp
Okavango DeltaLocated in a private concession in the northern Okavango Delta in Botswana, Kwando Kwara Camp sits on a forested island overlooking a seasonal lagoon. The camp’s excellent location allows access to the myriad waterways of the Delta as well as expansive dry areas, offering a more diverse safari experience.
A maximum of 16 guests can be accommodated in eight traditional tents set on raised platforms. The rustic accommodation features teak furniture, large beds, a comfortable seating area and en suites with sheltered outdoor showers. All rooms have a private veranda overlooking the lagoon, while the honeymoon suite has a freestanding clawfoot bathtub.
Hearty, home-cooked meals are served in the main hub, alongside a comfortable lounge and library, fire pit and swimming pool.
Kwando Kwara Camp offers a range of safari experiences, including day and night game drives, mokoro canoe excursions, guided bush walks and boat trips on the Godikwe and Gcobega lagoons, both excellent birding spots.
