Chobe Game Lodge lies on the banks of the Chobe River in Botswana’s Chobe National Park. The park is teeming with wildlife and has one of the largest concentrations of elephant found in Africa. This luxury safari lodge is one of Africa’s historic lodges and was originally made famous after Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton married there in the mid-1970s.
The lodge provides 47 elegantly-appointed and comfortable rooms and suites featuring traditional décor and delightful terraces overlooking the river. The private suites are perfect for guests looking to spoil themselves.
Meals are eaten in the open-sided restaurant where candles create a romantic feel in the evening. Other luxurious facilities include a pool, spa, and a unique boardwalk and deck.
Start your day at Chobe Game Lodge with a morning game drive followed by a boat safari along the floor plains. At sunset, relax on your deck as you watch wildlife grazing by the river.
